For tactical ISR operations, pilot applicants should meet the following requirements:



  1. Hold a JAA/EASA CPL (Aeroplanes) with valid Instrument Rating.
  2. A Type Rating is preferable but not essential.
  3. 2000 hours total flying experience, which should be powered fixed wing or rotary, 1000hrs in aeroplanes, 500hrs pilot in command overland VMC, including a significant proportion of low flying.
  4. 50 hours total flying time at night and/or IFR, including 20 hrs as pilot in command.
  5. 500 hours on twin-engine aeroplanes.
  6. Hold a current JAA/EASA Class 1 medical with single pilot privileges.

Applicants must hold a British passport, or have proof of right to work in the United Kingdom.
